Wow!
Another great year for the CV Show and another over-whelming response for Rhino
Linings. Potential Dealers and Rhino customers were able to talk first hand
to our existing Rhino Linings Dealers here in the UK who manned our stand for
the duration, in conjunction with our colleagues from Europe who were able to
liaise with our International visitors.
Our stand this year featured a long wheel base Mercedes Sprinter van thanks to
our colleagues at Falcon Self Drive of Taunton and Bridgwater. We had used the
softest of the five Rhino Linings coatings called Tuff-Stuff in order to create
the best anti-skid surface possible for the consumer. When object weight is added
to the surface, the coating depresses slightly and prevents the objects from sliding,
reducing the risk of vehicle or load damage in transit. In addition, the Tuff-Stuff
coating is also Guaranteed never to split or crack, offers excellent impact, abrasion
and surface anti corrosion qualities, as well as being impervious to water, petrol,
oil, diesel, detergent, thus allowing the light reflecting interior to be easily
cleaned when dirty, even with the use of jet wash or steam cleaners, with no water
penetration into the vehicle when a Rhino Lining upstand is created on side walls,
wheel arches and bulkhead.
On
display this year were also a huge variety of items made from different materials
– all of which had been Rhino Lined to show the practicality and potential
markets outside of the vehicle industry. These materials include: Rubber, Brass,
Chrome, Aluminium, Natural Wood, MDF, Chipboard, Polystyrene, Foilback Insulation,
Stone, Concrete/Cement, Ply, Thermalite, Fibreglass and Phenol Flooring –
think that’s everything! We were also surrounded by our multi-coloured
display boards; all coated with Rhino Lining and of course, being watched closely
by our friend the Rhino who stood proudly overlooking the event!
Thanks to all our visitors this year, some familiar faces and many many new
ones from lots of different business backgrounds, and a special thanks to operators
of Speedliner for visiting us so many times to ask our advice on the application
of Rhino Linings and to take away test samples of our products applied to different
substrates at varying thicknesses, touch dry in 20 seconds and full cured in
minutes – just in case anybody had forgotten! A cheeky thanks also to
our colleagues on the BMC stand adjacent for providing the ‘view’
for Rhino visitors! See you all next year.
